If you are a new member, you'll need to attend a Corporate meeting before you gain voting rights for future meetings. We'll also add you to the corp-announce@ mailing list and send you invites to join corp@ (discussion list) and corp-proxies@ (if you do not get email notifications within a week of joining, please contact clerk@).

To help people understand how our meetings work, we have a guide to Meeting Procedures [1]. Arisia follows a variation of Roberts' Rules of Order.

The typical order of a meeting is:

• Scheduling of Future Meetings
• Committee Reports
• Old Business
• New Business
• Announcements
